Boston native Zoe Carey began her artistic endeavors at the age of 4 when she started attending classes at Boston Ballet School. Ms. Carey has performed in Boston Ballet’s professional production of The Nutcracker three times under the direction of Artistic Director Mikko Nissinen, performing in over 40 performances. She debuted at the age of 10 as a Polichinelle, coming back subsequently to perform the roles of party girl and soldier; and also performed in the 2018 production of Coppelia as a dancing doll. Zoe was at the peak of her ballet training in 2019, but during the pandemic started exploring her other artistic talents such as singing and acting. On June 4 and 5, she will perform the role of Mabel in a local production of  “The Pirates of Penzance,” and is excited to be a featured dancer in Henry Purcell Society of Boston’s “A Restoration Era Macbeth” the following weekend! The young artists, Aviva Días and Zoe Carey, have been close friends since they were young and, in Zoe’s words, dream of becoming the “A to Z superstar friendship duo in New York”!
